| WHERE IS DIVERSIFIED ENGINEERING CONCEPTS? |

DAYTON, located in the southwestern portion of the great state of Ohio, is often called the Gem City by its 200,000 residents. The city is the hub of a large metropolitan area and a center for aerospace and high-technology developmnent. The city was the home to Orville and Wilbur Wright who did their pioneering research in flight and aircraft in the city of Dayton. Technically, Diversified Engineering Concepts is located in the southern Dayton suburb of Centerville but most outsiders such as yourself have never heard of Centerville, Ohio so let's talk Dayton... |

The city itself is named after General Johnathan Dayton, one of the original
founders in the late 1700’s. In 1829 the Erie Canal came through Dayton
and turned it into a cultural and manufacturing center. It was officially
incorporated into a city in 1841.
The city is the home of the Wright Patterson Air Force Base where the Dayton Peace Accord was signed on November 21st, 1995 in an attempt to settle the disagreement between the Bosnian Serbs and Croats in the Bosnian region of Yugoslavia. The base is also where the refrigeration cold weather test facility known as Hangar 18 is located (but we swear that nothing is being kept inside little jars within the hangar [wink, wink]). In the 50s and 60s the base was the home of Project Blue Book which was called upon to investigate the rash of UFO sightings throughout the United States. We can neither confirm nor deny the accuracy of the above information. The fact that you read it may garner you serious repercussions from a top secret government agency. Dayton is the largest 90 minute air travel market being able to reach over 55 percent of the United States population within 90 minutes. In 90 minutes by road we can reach 4.1 million people making Dayton the eighth largest over-road market in the United States. Dayton and the Dayton International Airport have the luxury of straddling two major interstates: I-75 This interstate runs through the west side of Dayton on its north to south trek from Canada to Florida passing through such cities as Detroit, Cincinnati, Lexington and Atlanta. I-70 This east to west interstate runs between north Dayton and the Dayton International Airport on its way from Pittsburgh through Indianapolis and St. Louis.
